Ten Pin Galley Closed Weekend of 13th
The Ten Pin Galley will not be open this weekend so we can all go to the St. Patrick's Dinner at the American Legion. We will be open as usual again next week starting with Monday the 15th. On Wednesday, St. Patrick's Day, we will be serving a Special rendition of Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage to include a tasty dessert so come in, watch the Men's League Bowling and taste a 'wee bit of Ireland', while you're at it, bring a pint or two to enjoy!

Get Your Cajun On at the Ten Pin Galley!
If you didn't make it to Mardis Gras this year, don't dismay. We didn't either so we're goin' Cajun this Saturday the 20th. As usual, we open at 5:00 with the regular menu and the specials will be ready for 6:00. There will be Country Cajun File Gumbo with rice, Maque Choux Corn and Gulf Coast Shrimp Po'Boy Sandwiches. For the "Pound-a-thon" Special this week you can have the Gumbo which is 178 calories without the rice and 281 calories with the rice. The Maque Choux Corn side dish is 183 calories per serving.
Waste Management Alert/ SPECIAL MEETING notice
Richard Ahman announced at a Feb 8th, 2010 Workshop that he will be resigning from the Commission of Fishers Island Waste Management Tax District (FIWMD) effective February 28th, 2010.
A Special Meeting to appoint an individual to serve as commissioner from March 1- December 31, 2010 is scheduled for February 22, 2010, 5:00 PM at the District office.
This is a public meeting, open to all.
Saturday Specials and Super Bowl Sunday at the Ten Pin Galley
Going a little Mexican this Saturday, must be the influence of the Super Bowl! Our Saturday Specials for the 6th are Pork Enchiladas or the "Pound-a-thoner" Chicken Tortilla Soup. The Enchiladas will be served two to a plate and the Tortilla Soup comes in at an amazing 171 Calories for a bowl!! I know, we couldn't believe it either!! There are still tickets available for the Super Bowl Party which starts @5:00 on the 7th, upstairs in the Multi-purpose room. The screen is soooo big, you'll think you're on the field!
