Changes to Email Server
The Utility Company is trying to cut down on some of the spam that we have been getting on fishnet. This means a few changes in the email system for us. If you have been using outlook to access your email from fishersisland.net you need to make a slight adjustment to your settings.
First: Open your Outlook
Next: Click on 'tools' at the top of the page.
Next: Click on 'accounts'
Next: Click on the 'Mail' tab
Next: Click on 'Properties'
Next: Click on 'Servers'
You will see a place that says 'Incoming (POP3)' and under that it says 'Outgoing (SMTP)'
In the space beside "Incoming (POP3)' fill in winstar.tvcconnect.net
Do the same in the space beside 'Outgoing (SMTP)' fill in, winstar.tvcconnect.net
Here is an example of what this should look like.
When you have done this, click APPLY then click OK. Leave everything else alone.
Close the Outlook and reopen it and you should be able to get your email as before.
