Sea Stretcher Marathon

The 2012 Fishers Island Fire Department Sea Stretcher Marathon will take place on Sunday, May 27.  Registration starts at 8:00 AM at the firehouse.  There are five divisions: 1 mile (12 years old and under), 1 mile (over 12), 3 miles, 5 miles, and 8 miles.  Race time is 9:00 so if you wish to participate in the 3 mile, 5 mile, or 8 mile race, please be sure to sign up in time to be able to get to the starting point by 9:00.  Limited transportation to the starting lines is available.  If you are able to provide additional transportation, it would be most appreciated!
 

All monies raised by this event benefit Sea Stretcher, the Department’s ambulance boat.  Sea Stretcher is funded entirely by donations, so your help getting sponsors, as well as your generous pledges, are very important.
