Have you requested your ballot for the 2012 ICB Elections?
The ICB is switching to an on-line election form for elections for our seasonal and year-round representatives to the Island Community Board. This email is meant to serve as registration for the online election to be held July 2-9.
If you are a year round resident (based on the FI Ferry ID card list – or the year round utility list), a seasonal property owner or a seasonal renter, you qualify to vote. In order to receive a ballot, please email Jamie Doucette at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and email address to be added to the appropriate voter list. One vote per individual (not per email address).
Registration will be open through Saturday, June 30th. You will be emailed an on-line ballot on Monday, July 2nd, which you have a week to fill out and return before the link becomes invalid.
We will be electing 3 representatives for each category (highest vote getter to a 3 year term, 2nd to a 2 year term and 3rd to a 1 year term). If you need a paper ballot or know someone who does, please contact Jamie or Elizabeth at the Community Center – 631-788-7683. Ballots can also be mailed if necessary.

If you are interested in running for a seat in either category or want to nominate someone, please contact the current President of the ICB, John Spofford (email@example.com) for more information on our current initiatives, expectations and time-commitment. Each nominee will be required to have a list of 15 supporters or signatures (email is fine). Terms will commence at the August ICB meeting.
