Superintendent Charlie Meyers is presenting his 2013-14 Education Budget Proposal to the Board of Education on Wednesday, February 20th, in the Fishers Island School Social Studies Classroom. The meeting begins at 5:00 PM.

Fishers Island Ferry District news: the Race Point will be going for its biannual dry-dock service on January 2, 2013. She is expected to be out of service for six to eight weeks. Please plan accordingly.

Prayer Service at Union Chapel tonight at 6:30pm for the victims of the Sandy Hook Shooting. Annual Christmas Pageant and Carol Sing at Union Chapel, Sunday, Dec, 16th at 6:15pm All are welcome! Dec. 24th Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 6:00pm Union Chapel. Come hear the Christmas Story and sing Christmas Carols with your family and neighbors as we welcome the Christ Child in our midst. Longest Night/Blue Christmas Friday. Dec. 21st 5:30pm In the midst of the busyness and merriment of the season, there are many who do not feel joy or hope. Many who are grieving, lonely or sad. This Contemplative service recognizes those feelings and honors them.
